Tom Weeks - Panelist Lendlease Corporation - Executive General Manager, Development
Thomas Weeks, Executive General Manager, Development, within the Americas region, is responsible for growing the development business in the Chicago market, pursuing and identifying urban regeneration projects and supporting Lendlease’s development efforts nationally.
Mr. Weeks’ 25+ years of senior managerial experience in the development business includes executive roles for Related Midwest and Clayco. In his prior roles, he had responsibility for development projects with market values in excess of $3 billion.
He serves on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations including Chicago Metropolitan Housing Development Corporation (Vice President of the Board of Directors), CMHDC Development Services (President of the Board of Directors), Local Initiatives Support Corporation (Chicago Advisory Board Member) and Metropolitan Planning Council (Executive Advisors Member). Mr. Weeks has also served on the board of Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights (Member) and The Trust for Public Land (Chicago Advisory Board Member).
Mr. Weeks received his Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Chicago Law School and his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and mathematics from Amherst College; his professional affiliations have included Friends of the Parks, University of Chicago Law School Visiting Committee and Dr. Bombay, a non-profit fundraising band.
